Loop-Loc® Cover Replacement — Important Info

Replacing a LOOP-LOC® Cover? Read This First.

If you have your original LOOP-LOC® order number, we can usually pull the specs and issue a quote from that record. If not, Empire Pools can contact LOOP-LOC to see if your pool is already in their system and quote from the original file. No record on file? We can pick up your current cover and have LOOP-LOC use it as a template for the new one. This gives the best chance to match most (or all) pre-drilled anchors so new holes aren’t needed.

What You Can Expect

  • Original order path: Provide your LOOP-LOC order number or let us check with LOOP-LOC.
  • Template path: We pick up your old cover; LOOP-LOC uses it as a precise template.
  • Anchor alignment priority: Maximizes reuse of existing holes.
  • Hardware review: We assess springs/straps/buckles and recommend replacements if worn.
  • Clear approval: Written quote for sign-off before production starts.
  • $200 template fee policy: Only charged if you don’t proceed with a new cover (credited if you order).
  • Pickup & return: We’ll bag, tag, coordinate production, and reinstall tension when the new cover arrives.
  • Final tension & photo log: Strap tension, trim excess, document settings.

Not Sure? We Can Check
  • Text us your name, address, past installer info.

Use Old Cover as Template

  • Best chance to match pre-drilled anchors.

Anchor System & Installation Details

Discreet. Durable. Built To Hold For Decades.

Every Loop-Loc® cover we install is secured with solid brass anchors and stainless hardware engineered for Long Island winters. Anchors are flush-mounted so they’re nearly invisible when not in use, with each point spaced precisely for correct tension, safety, and longevity.

What You Can Expect

  • Flush-set brass grommets: sit nearly level with the deck when the cover is off.
  • Diamond-core drilling: prevents cracks and spans in concrete decks.
  • Exact anchor layout: each location measured, squared, tension-balanced.
  • Heavy-duty springs, buckles & caps: keep hardware clean and safe in swim season.
  • Any surface, done right: concrete, pavers, wood/composite, reinforced soil.
  • Low-profile finish: no trip hazards in the off-season.
  • Upgrade path: remove old hardware, relocate anchors, retrofit for spas, walls, benches.
  • Final tension & photo log: strap tension set, trim excess, document settings.
Concrete Decks
  • No-drilled, epoxy-set anchors avoid cracking.
  • Anchors set away from expansion joints.
  • Optional decorative caps available.
Paver/Stone Decks
  • Paver tubes & anti-shift sleeves lock alignment long-term.
  • Load transfers to individual stones.
  • Clean sand re-set after install.
Wood/Composite Decks
  • Through-bolted plates or hidden blocking for pull-through resistance.
  • Stainless hardware for salt/shore climates.

Wood & Composite Deck Installation

Built-In Safety — No Drilling, No Damage, No Compromise

Not every Long Island pool is surrounded by concrete — and that’s okay. Our Loop-Loc® safety cover installation for wood and composite decks uses low-profile stainless hardware that anchors to deck boards without core drilling. The result: a clean, durable finish that protects your pool all winter with zero risk to your decking.

Here’s How It Works

  • No core-drilling required — hardware anchors into existing deck boards using manufacturer-approved methods.
  • Low-profile stainless steel brackets and plates designed specifically for Loop-Loc covers.
  • Works with wood, composite, and modular decks; hidden blocking added where needed for pull-through resistance.
  • Engineered for maximum tension & drainage — strap angles set for winter load; water drains under the cover as designed.
  • Precision measurement — all locations adjusted for board spacing, joist layout, and deck flex to keep alignment tight.
  • Pro finish — fasteners sized for species/composite type; cuts end sealed where applicable; stainless throughout for coastal durability.
  • Proven locally — we’ve installed hundreds of Loop-Loc covers across Long Island.

Empire Pools provides expert Loop-Loc safety cover installation on wood and composite decks in Suffolk & Nassau — clean layouts, correct tension, and hardware that lasts.

Where We Service on Long Island

We proudly service the majority of Nassau and Suffolk County with fast response times and full-service capability. To keep routes tight (and prices fair), we focus on areas where we can deliver reliable, on-time visits all season long.

  • Nassau County: We service most towns across Nassau, including the South Shore as far west as Valley Stream and Malverne. We do not service the far-north Gold Coast towns such as Great Neck and Locust Valley.
  • Suffolk County: Strong coverage in west/central Suffolk. We do not service the East End—no service east of Calverton or east of Bellport (including Hamptons & North Fork).
  • Fast scheduling where we operate most: Dense routes mean quicker ETAs and better pricing in our primary Nassau & Suffolk zones.
  • Not sure if you’re in range? Text your address, town, and nearest cross street. We’ll confirm coverage and the earliest route day in minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions

Loop-Loc Safety Cover FAQ — Clear, Practical Answers

What is a Loop-Loc safety pool cover?
A tensioned winter safety cover, custom-fit to your pool, anchored to the deck with brass hardware and stainless springs. Designed for safety, debris control, and winter durability.
How much does Loop-Loc cover installation cost on Long Island?
Pricing depends on pool size, shape, obstacles, and deck surface (concrete, pavers, wood/composite). We’ll quote after a few photos and dimensions—text them and we’ll reply fast.
What’s the difference between mesh and solid Loop-Loc covers?
Mesh drains water (lower maintenance), solid blocks sunlight for the clearest spring water (may need a pump or drain panel). We’ll recommend based on leaves, wind, and algae risk.
Can Loop-Loc covers be installed on wood or composite decks?
Yes. We use low-profile stainless brackets/plates and hidden blocking—no core drilling into deck boards. Built for strength and a clean finish.
Do I need a custom-measured Loop-Loc cover?
Nearly always. Custom measurement ensures correct strap angles, hardware locations, and proper safety fit—especially around steps, spas, benches, or raised walls.
How long does it take to install a Loop-Loc safety cover?
Most installs finish same day after measuring and layout. Complex shapes/obstacles or wood/composite decks can add time for precision hardware placement.
Is a Loop-Loc cover worth it for safety?
Yes—when tensioned and installed correctly, it provides a secure barrier and a durable winter seal. It also reduces debris and spring cleanup.
Can you remove and reinstall my existing Loop-Loc cover?
Yes. We can remove, store, and reinstall existing covers. We’ll inspect springs/straps/buckles and recommend replacements if worn.
How long do Loop-Loc covers last?
With proper care and off-season tension, mesh and solid covers typically last many years. Life span varies with sunlight, trees, wind, and chemistry.
What colors are available for Loop-Loc covers?
Popular colors include Hunter Green, Steel Gray, Mojave Brown, and Sapphire Navy. We’ll match to your yard and hardscape.
Do I need to be home for the installation?
Not required in most cases. We confirm access, pets, and gate/lock info in advance; final photos and notes are provided after install.
Can Loop-Loc covers be installed on above-ground pools with decks?
Yes—when a stable deck surrounds the pool. We’ll review structure and anchor points from your photos before scheduling.
What’s included with a professional Loop-Loc installation?
Measurement & layout, anchor drilling/setting, strap/spring install, tensioning for winter load, final trim, and photo documentation.
Do Loop-Loc covers come with a warranty?
Loop-Loc provides a manufacturer warranty; our installation workmanship is covered by our install guarantee and follow-up support.
How do I get started?
Text or email wide pool photos and deck close-ups with your town and goals (lowest maintenance, cleanest opening, or tightest seal). We’ll reply with a plan and quote.
